GlobalTaxiFare ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our mobile application handles your information.
GlobalTaxiFare does not require account registration and does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information. We do not have a backend server that stores user data.
When you use the Live Meter feature, the app requests permission to access your device's location. This location data is used exclusively on your device to calculate distances and fare estimates. Location data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data through Apple's App Store analytics platform to understand how the app is used and improve it. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
The app does not embed third-party advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks.
The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

GlobalTaxiFare provides taxi fare estimates for informational purposes only. Fare estimates are based on official tariff data but may not reflect actual metered fares due to traffic, route variations, driver discretion, or changes in official tariffs.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that fare estimates will be accurate, complete, or up to date. Always confirm fares with your driver or the taxi operator.
We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on fare estimates provided by the App.
All content, design, and functionality of the App and website are the property of GlobalTaxiFare and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Fare estimates are based on official tariff data published by taxi regulatory authorities. They represent the theoretical metered fare for the given distance and time. Real fares may differ slightly due to traffic routing and any supplemental charges applied by the driver.
Open the app, select your city, and tap "Start Meter." The app will use your GPS to track distance and time in real time, calculating your running fare. Make sure Location Services are enabled for the app.
Yes! Contact us with the city name and, if possible, a link to the official tariff document. We aim to add new cities with every update.
Tariffs change periodically. If you notice a discrepancy, please contact us with the correct tariff information and a source. We'll update it as quickly as possible.
Yes. Tariff data is stored locally on your device. An internet connection is only required to fetch updated tariff data when you open the app.
