What does the app do?

Advanced Taxi Calculator estimates taxi fares in Israel based on the official time-of-day and day-of-week tariff structure (Tariff 1 / 2 / 3). It is a calculation tool for drivers and passengers.

Is this an official Ministry of Transport app?

No. The app uses tariff data based on Ministry of Transport rates, but it is not affiliated with or approved by the Ministry of Transport. Prices include VAT and are not valid for the city of Eilat.

How are tariffs selected?

The app selects the tariff automatically based on the day of the week and the time of day. On holiday eves and holidays, you should manually force the appropriate tariff (see the Holiday Reminders page).

How do I get holiday reminders?

We provide a free calendar file that adds Jewish-holiday tariff reminders to your phone's calendar. See the Holiday Reminders page to download it.

Does the app use my location?

Only on your device, to calculate routes and fares. Your location is never sent to a server, never stored off the device, and never shared. See our Privacy Policy.
